New Year Holiday Highlights

CRISP COUNTY- January 4, 2018

Crisp County Sheriff’s Office wrapped up the New Year Holiday period with a total of 63 calls for service. Over the course of the holiday period Deputies issued 73 speeding citations, 1 suspended license citation, and 20 other traffic violation citations. There were 5 arrests made throughout the holiday period. Summaries of the arrest and charges are listed below.

Arrests Summary:

On December 30, 2017 at approximately 10:00 AM, 29-year-old Jeff Guiteau was arrested. Guiteau is charged with Driving in the Excess of Maximum Speeds and Driving While Declared a Habitual Violator.

On December 30, 2017 at approximately 2:00 AM, 18-year-old Bradley McGlamory, and 20-year-old Dennis Keen were arrested. McGlamory is charged with Possession of Hash Oil (Felony) and Possession of Marijuana (Felony). Keen is charged with Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance (Felony), Possession of Marijuana (Felony), Possession of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony (Felony), and Tag Light Required.

On December 31, 2017 at approximately 9:50 PM, 18-year-old Jonathan Ray was brought to Crisp County Detention Center. During processing Ray was found in possession of hidden contraband (Marijuana). Ray is charged with Possession of Marijuana less than an ounce and Crossing of Guard lines with Drugs.

On January 2, 2018 at approximately 12:40 PM 20-year-old Kaaun Daniel was arrested. Daniel is charged with Battery-Family Violence, Aggravated Assault (Felony), and Possession of Firearm or Knife during Commission of or Attempt to Commit a Crime (Felony), Obstructing or Hindering Law Enforcement Officers, and Possession of Marijuana (Felony).

Sheriff Billy Hancock states, “While others enjoyed time off, I am proud of the work done by Deputies and others over the Holidays in Public Safety.”
