The Administration Division of the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for a broad number of support functions that are integral to every division within the agency.

Administrative Captain:

The Crisp County Sheriff’s Office Administrative Captain provides high level executive administrative and secretarial support for the Sheriff. The Administrative Captain works closely with all divisions within the Sheriff’s Office plus coordinates services with other county offices and personnel; municipal agencies; state and federal agencies, as well as vendors and the general public. This position exercises supervisory control of all administrative personnel to ensure that all office functions are performed efficiently and in a professional, accurate, confidential and timely manner.

Human Resource Manager/Finance Director:

The Human Resources Manager/Finance director position consists of multiple functions and responsibilities. The Finance Director is tasked with maintaining the financial operations of the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office. The dual role of this position is also in charge of implementing the Sheriff’s Office Human Resource management program which includes upkeep of the classification and compensation of employees, assisting with recruitment and qualification of new applicants, maintaining personnel files and assisting employees with benefits information.

Records Clerk/Terminal Agency Coordinator:

The Records Clerk is responsible for assisting in providing customer service, document processing and disseminating information to the general public, other agencies, court officials, professional organizations and public safety officials as well as performing miscellaneous administrative duties for the agency. This person also serves as liaison between the Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC) for Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) network matters; handles oversight of the GCIC operations for the agency; administers the CJIS Network training program to all terminal operators and assists in the maintenance of the CJIS network.
