Support Services/State Certification:
The Support Services/ State Certification role formulates and finalizes all Crisp County Sheriff’s Office Policies and Procedures. In addition to Policy and Procedures this role is responsible for preparation of State Certification. This includes application for certification, appointment coordination, and ensuring certification remains up-to-date.
Training:
The Training role at Crisp County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for the planning, development, coordination, supervision, presentation, and documentation of all training activities including State Certification of Basic Jail Officers and Basic Peace Officers in accordance with Peace Officer Standards and Training Council rules. This role additionally manages all P.O.S.T. related training schedules.
Training Officer:
The Training Officer role is under the direct supervision of Sgt. Karla Stowe at Crisp County Sheriff’s Office and is responsible for the planning, development, coordination, supervision, presentation, and documentation of all training activities including State Certification of Basic Jail Officers and Basic Peace Officers in accordance with Peace Officer Standards and Training Council rules. This role additionally manages all P.O.S.T. related training schedules.
