FAST RESPONSE SAVES MAJOR EQUIPMENT IN ELECTRICAL FIRE AT CRISP COUNTY E-911/ COMMUNICATIONS
CRISP COUNTY- March 05, 2019
Crisp County E-911/Communications dispatched Cordele City Fire Department to the 911 Center at approximately 11:10 a.m. after a backup voice recorder caught fire. Paramedic/EMT Patterson was able to extinguish the small fire before Cordele City Fire Department arrived. The quick response by personnel and EMS Director, David Edwards saved major equipment in the IT Closet. Technicians responded, and E-911/Communications continues normal operations. “I applaud all involved personnel for their hard work and quick response,” stated Sheriff Billy Hancock.
