911 Communications Division
The Crisp County 9-1-1/Communications Center is a division of the Crisp County Sheriff's Office. Our call center is staffed with certified communications officers who have been trained to respond to all types of emergency situations. The center answered 116,299 calls in 2016.
Director of E-911 Communications: Linda Herman
Mrs. Herman started with Crisp County E-911 on November 7, 1994. She received the 4th Quarter Officer of the Quarter Lt. Michael Sangster Warrior Award in 2020. She has completed numerous training classes under APCA, FEMA, and GPSTC and attended classes to enhance her knowledge of 911 operations and responsibilities. Mrs. Herman has answered an unimaginable amount of calls, trained several individuals, and played a significant role in keeping units and citizens safe.
