Throughout the year we will recognize the men and women of Crisp County Sheriff’s Office who bravely serve behind the badge every day. Through the use of social media, photos, and videos we will provide insight on the Deputies that protect and serve Crisp County. Our hope is that this campaign will help form even stronger relationships between the agency and community. We will be updating this blog post throughout the year as we recognize our Deputies.
Going Behind the Badge Post 01:
When Deputy Lance Spurling is not on duty you can find him on the track. Deputy Spurling has spent the last eight years racing anything from Enduros, Dirt Late-Models, Outlaw Late-Models, to Pure Stock cars. With the support of his family Spurling has raced all over South Georgia on multiple dirt and asphalt tracks. You will find his two biggest fans his wife and son in the stands; soon there will be a third. March will be quite a busy month as Deputy Spurling welcomes his daughter into the world and starts the 2018 race season. If you happen to be at the Watermelon Capital Speedway on March 3, 2018 be sure to cheer on Pure Stock # 11.
