JONES SUBJECT ARRESTED AFTER ATTEMPTING TO ELUDE
CRISP COUNTY- May 9, 2019
Rachel Jones 39-year-old female, a resident of Cordele, Georgia was arrested May 9, 2019, at approximately 2:10 p.m. In addition to Probation Violation Jones will also face an obstruction charge.
On Thursday, May 9, 2019, Crisp County Deputies attempted to serve an arrest warrant for Probation Violation on Jones at 570 North Penia Road at approximately 10:15 a.m. Upon the arrival of Crisp County Deputies, Jones fled on foot into the woods behind the home. Deputies and Investigators established a perimeter until other units could arrive to assist. The K-9 Tracking Team was deployed in efforts to help locate Jones. Hours later Crisp County Deputies went back to 570 North Penia Road. Jones attempted to elude again but was placed into custody without incident. Jones was transported to the Crisp County Detention Center.
