ONE SUSPECT IN CUSTODY FROM BURGLARIES ACROSS SOUTH GEORGIA

CRISP COUNTY- March 29, 2019

Eight Georgia Law Enforcement Agencies are working together to investigate burglaries that occurred across South Georgia. After an intensive investigation one suspect is in custody. US Marshal Middle Georgia Fugitive Task Force apprehended Anthony Jayquan Williams, a 26-year-old male, a resident of Macon, Georgia. Williams faces Burglary charges with Crisp County Sheriff’s Office for the February 15, 2019 burglaries of the following commercial businesses:

  • Striplings General Store 2289 GA Hwy 300 South, Cordele GA 31015
  • Quick Buys 2465 Highway 300 South, Cordele GA 31015

Additional charges pending further investigation. Other suspects remain at large. Law Enforcement Agencies are continuing to work in tandem to apprehend other involved suspects.
