THREE CAR VEHICLE ACCIDENT
CRISP COUNTY- August 4, 2017
August 3, 2017 at approximately 2:30pm a three car vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of 24th Avenue and GA HWY 300 Connector. One of those vehicles was a Crisp County Sheriff’s Office unit operated by Sheriff Billy Hancock. A truck was attempting to make a left hand turn on to HWY 280 and turned into the path of a Gold GMC Yukon. In attempt to avoid a collision the Yukon turn right and struck Sheriff Hancock’s vehicle that was stationary at the stop sign. No serious injuries were reported. The accident was investigated by the Georgia State Patrol Post 30 Cordele.
