ANONYMOUS TIP LEADS TO ARREST
CRISP COUNTY- August 10, 2017
Deontravious Riggins, 37 year old resident of Crisp County was arrested August 9, 2017 around 12:30 P.M. After receiving an anonymous citizen’s report and through further investigation Mid South Narcotics Task Force assisted Georgia Department of Community Supervision with a compliance check on Riggins who was on probation. Upon search Riggins was found in procession of two firearms, a quantity of Ecstasy (Schedule I Controlled Substance) packaged for distribution, and less than an ounce of marijuana.
After arrest Riggins was transported to Crisp County Detention Center. Riggins is charged with two counts of Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon, Possession of Firearm during Commission of Felony, Possession of Ecstasy with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana, Procession of Controlled Substance within 1000 feet of School, and Possession of Controlled Substance within 1000 feet of Housing Project.
