CRISP COUNTY- June 29, 2020
On June 28, 2020, at approximately 10:15 P.M., Crisp County E-911 dispatched Crisp County Sheriff’s Deputies to the 2200 block of Roosevelt Street in Omar Heights about a report of shots fired in the area. At approximately 10:25 P.M., Crisp County E-911 dispatched Crisp County EMS and Cordele Police Officers to the 700 block of W 28th Ave about a male suffering a gunshot wound to the hip. Crisp County EMS transported the gunshot wound victim to Crisp Regional Hospital. Initial investigation determined the gunshot wound victim was shot in the Omar Heights area and then transported to the 700 block of W 28th Ave. Crisp County Sheriff’s Office is investigating this incident.
