Student Brings Weapon on Campus After Class PR 21-027
On December 7, 2021, the Crisp County Sheriffs’ Office was contacted by administrators at the Crisp County Learning Center, located on 14th Avenue in reference to a student having a weapon on school property. When deputies arrived at the school, the weapon had been taken by school officials. The weapon was not loaded. There were no other students present on campus when the incident occurred. The 19-year-old, Patrick Ellis, was placed in custody and arrested for O.C.G.A. 16-11-127.1 Carrying a Weapon within the School Safety Zone.
