THREE WANTED SUSPECTS ARRESTED IN CRISP COUNTY FOR CENTERVILLE SHOPLIFTING CASE

CRISP COUNTY- October 4, 2018

Members of the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division arrested Sire Nabe, a 23-year-old female, Ashanti Duncan, a 17-year-old female, and Demarkevious Drayton, a 19-year-old male, all residents of Albany, Georgia at approximately 3:20 p.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2018. Nabe faces charges of Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Police Officer and Felony Shoplifting. Drayton and Duncan face Felony Shoplifting charges as well. Centerville Police Department issued warrants for these suspects' arrests after they fled from officers and shoplifted from Belk’s in Centerville, Georgia

Centerville Police Department contacted Deputy First Class Herrick with a vehicle description and tag number of the vehicle that fled from officers at the scene. Deputy First Class Herrick observed a vehicle matching the given description traveling south on GA HWY 300. Herrick initiated his emergency equipment to stop the vehicle. Members of Crisp County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division arrested and transported Nabe, Drayton, and Duncan to the Crisp County Detention Center to await transport to Houston County.
