Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest
On March 28, 2025, shortly after midnight, officers conducted a traffic stop on a Nissan passenger car in the vicinity of Exit 99 on I-75. During the stop, the driver, Amy Davis, was found to have methamphetamine and a firearm. The passenger, Walter Hickman, had an outstanding warrant for his arrest in Crisp County. Davis and Hickman were arrested and transported to the Crisp County Detention Center.
Amy Davis, a 32-year-old female from Cordele is charged with
- Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)
- Possession of a Firearm During Commission of a Crime
