Traffic Stop Leads to Fraud Arrest
On March 8, 2025, at approximately 7:00 PM, a deputy patrolling GA 401/I-75 near mile marker 96 observed a vehicle, identified as a 2003 silver Honda Accord, traveling northbound with a tinted windshield and no headlights activated. The deputy activated his emergency lights to initiate a traffic stop at Exit 99. The vehicle slowed down but continued traveling north, driving onto the exit ramp before finally stopping.
The deputy approached the driver and sole occupant, identified as Mysteria Glover, and explained the reason for the traffic stop. During this interaction, the deputy noticed the strong odor of raw marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. Backup arrived at the scene, and Glover was asked to step out of the vehicle, which she complied with.
Subsequently, the deputy searched the vehicle and discovered a small bag of suspected raw marijuana in a black purse on the passenger side seat. Additionally, the deputy found eight different credit and debit cards, along with a significant amount of cash in various denominations. Only one of the debit/credit cards belonged to Glover; the others were associated with three different individuals.
Mysteria Glover, a 26-year-old female from Cordele was transported to the Crisp County Detention Center and is charged with the following:
- Financial Transaction Card Theft
- Probation Violation
- Operation of Unregistered Vehicle or Vehicle Without Current License Plate
