Wanted Subject Arrested
Crisp County – December 12, 2024
On December 12, 2024, at approximately 5:40 P.M., Crisp County Sheriff’s Office arrested Tristan Cole Douglas, a 25-year-old male from Cordele, Georgia, who had outstanding warrants for false imprisonment, simple battery FV, and three counts of aggravated battery FV. Douglas was at a residence on Old Hatley Road in Cordele, Ga. When deputies attempted to arrest Douglas, he became boisterous and combative. After a short scuffle with the deputies, Deputies arrested Douglas and took him into custody. During the arrest, one deputy was injured by Douglas, receiving a minor laceration to the left temple. Both the deputy and Douglas, who complained of his wrist hurting, were checked by EMS and released.
Douglas was transported to Crisp County Detention Center by deputies. Douglas faces additional charges of Obstruction of a law enforcement officer, Felony aggravated assault, driving while license suspended or revoked, DUI drugs and alcohol, possession of an open alcohol container, and no insurance.
This case remains under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division.
