SUBJECT WANTED BY AUTHORITIES IN LISTONIA ROAD AREA HAS BEEN TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

CRISP COUNTY- June 13, 2020

Crisp County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a subject threatening to commit suicide Saturday, June 13, 2020 around 9:30 a.m. After further questioning and investigation it was determined that the subject Heath Register, a 41 year old male, resident of Cordele was involved in a homicide that occurred earlier this date in Dooly County. Crisp County Sheriff’s Office joined by Dooly County Sheriff’s Office, Georgia State Patrol Aviation, Georgia State Patrol, Georgia Department of Natural Resources, and Georgia Bureau of Investigation began searching for Register near Listonia Road based on information received. After several hours of tracking and negations, Register was taken into custody at approximately 6:50 p.m. without incident. Register was then transported to Dooly County Sheriff’s Office.
