THREE ARRESTED FROM ILLEGAL DRUG DISTRIBUTION INVESTIGATION

CRISP COUNTY- June 15, 2018

During an investigation into illegal drug distribution the Mid-South Narcotics Task Force along with the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant on a residence located at 1106 B South Joe Wright Drive. The investigation was started after complaints were made to law enforcement about drug activity occurring at the residence.

When agents and deputies executed the search warrant, seven adults and one juvenile were located inside the residence. Once secured, the residence was searched by law enforcement. During the search, agents seized approximately 100 grams of marijuana, a quantity of Codeine which is a schedule III narcotic, scales and packaging materials.

Three people were arrested during the investigation. They were 25 year old Kevonta L’Quan Jackson charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and possession of a scheduled III narcotic, 19 year old Daevon Jamal Troup charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and 26 year old Gerard Towns charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.
