See Something, Say Something Leads to Arrest

August 8, 2025

Crisp County, GA

The Crisp County Sheriff’s Office received information regarding illegal narcotics being sold outside a local business. When a deputy arrived and identified the suspect, the individual dropped a black handgun next to the ice machine in an attempt to conceal it. The weapon, along with a black bag containing marijuana, was recovered.

Sanchez Lucas, an 18-year-old male from Cordele, was arrested and transported to the Crisp County Jail. Lucas is charged with:

- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime

- Felony Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute

- Felony Manufacturing, Distributing, Dispensing, or Possession of Marijuana

- Possession, Manufacturing, Distributing of a Controlled Substance within 1,000 Feet of Housing Projects

This serves as a reminder: if you see something, say something.
