TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO THREE ARRESTS

CRISP COUNTY- October 13, 2017

Yon Lee 23 year old, Matthew Pope 26 year old both residents of Apopka, Florida, and Adam Finnerty 23 year old male resident of Altamonte Springs, Florida were arrested October 11, 2017 around 11:50 A.M. Deputy John Harvey initiated a traffic stop on a 2010 Sliver Mazda for excess speeding on GA 401.

Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Harvey noticed the odor of green marijuana coming from within the vehicle. Lee advised Deputy Harvey that there was not any marijuana in the vehicle. A search the vehicle resulted in a quantity THC oil (Schedule I Controlled Substance) packaged for distribution, less than an ounce of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia were found.

Consequently Lee, Pope, and Finnerty were arrested and transported to Crisp County Detention Center. Yon Lee is charged with one count Speeding in Excess of Maximum Limits, one count Possession of Marijuana less than one ounce, and Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute. Matthew Pope is charged with one count Possession of Marijuana less than one ounce, and Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute. Adam Finnerty is charged with one count Possession of Marijuana less than one ounce, and Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance.
